what publication did you study and how long was the study for??.

when i came in you were only allowed 6months, i didnt even get that lol...but was baptised after 5months.

it was so fast but i was ready for baptism.

When i came in you were only allowed 6months, i didnt even get that lol...but was baptised after 5months. It was so fast but i was ready for baptism. I do think people should be able to study for atleast 2years as its alot to take in...agree?? That way if someone changes there mind they can leave before baptism.

Two new leaflets announced at Meeting today - desparate times?

i don't know if anyone else has posted about this, but at tonight's meeting it was announced there are two new leaflets one dealing with how to leave a legacy for the worldwide work and the other on how to make tax effective contributions?.

this maybe for the uk only but i thought it showed that they really are focussing on filling up the depleted coffers..

hi issaac,well i guess each elder must be different because we are warned but never told we cannot do things...just given loving warnings.

Im not due a shepherding lol......and do prepare for the meeting unless due to imperfection im unwell or actually forget where we are...haha myself and another elder often have to check where we are in the lv book..wish we would just do a chapter each week,be so much easier,but keep stopping at paragraphs makes us lose where we are

ok here we go...im going to put my head on the chopping board (so to speak).

i only came on here to meet new people and have chats etc...yes i am a jw and do love jah.....but im also just an average person who im pretty sure many of you would get on with if we had the time to chat about other things too.... i think some want me to go....sad but yes true.....if you all want me to go then i'll do that..im fine with it as i just want to please people...... i know jb and some say they want to go to my elders,and honestly im fine with that but surely if someone is threatening then they clearly dont want me on here...... time to go???????

or as big brother would say "who goes...you decide"?

hi out atlast...no have never been df ever,you must have the wrong person :) id never go down that road.....Ive mentioned how ive always been in good standing, and i will always remain in good standing too. Havent ever even been infront of Elders or JC lol so def someone else :)

for those of us who were not able to celebrate birthday's growing up, do you find that in adult life you put a lot of emphasis on your birthday?

it's personally my favorite celebration, second would be thanksgiving but really only because i'm a sucker for lots of turkey and booze lol.

seriously though, since coming out birthday's have surprisingly become a very sacred thing to me.

Mouthy no you were not rude atall.....only one person on here has cut me deeply and it wasnt you. You know from when i first read your ordeal i truly felt for you,not in a pity way,but truly felt your pain.....

I dont miss not celebrating bdays but i do miss.....ready... firework night :( loved fireworks,but can buy some after and let them off,not the same though..... Oops,maybe shouldnt have said that....but its true and Jah sees my heart so he knows i miss it....watch from the window like a big kid lol
